S.I.C.O. was setup in 1969 to
produce oil pressure cylinders.
The firm currently produces these cylinders right from the initial
phase through to the final testing. With 4 working bases, S.I.C.O.
owns various turning, boring and welding plants. Two measure and weight
testing centres were acquired in order to offer total quality check
during every phase of production.
S.I.C.O.‘s administration and production headquarters are based
in Modena, northern Italy. Twenty clerks, administrators, technicians
and workers are employed here.
For the year 2001, the company produced around 20,000 cylinders, mainly
destined to goods moving vehicles (like fork-lift trucks) and earth
moving vehicles.
